as you already know that yoga increases flexibility. but now a days, it is trend to lose weight with yoga, actualy its not the real motive of yoga, but as the yoga instructors prescribe light diet consisting of fruits, nuts, milk avoiding carbohydrates, this causes losing wt. but when you come to reality this is not the right way. after following for some time you will find yourself weak, because carbohydrates also have very important role in our body functioning. this is just like being on diet with some asnas and you don’t even know that each of asan is really you need or not , you just follow the others. so the money makers are cheating people, they are just fulfilling their dreams, whether they any kind of baba or anyone else. they are just inbcreasing their business. they just tell you you to have some sort of ayrvedic remedies which makes you slim rapidly but the reality of these medicines comes very late when these stars your body habitual to them
to know about yoga, you should contact such a person who really experienced the yoga, as i am myself expert yogi, i advice you to not go to any baba, just keep in mind the reality of yoga. the word “yoga” comes from sanskrit language and it means combining, and the combination is mind, body and soul’s. it means being the real person what you are actually by heart and soul. and these yoga asnas are just like excercises. if you have the good literature about yoga, that is ancient indian granthas, vedas, you will come to know that people don’t know the real yoga. a good person who is loyal to himself is the real yogi. he do what is doing from inside, his body is not toy for someone else’s wishes, he do what he wants to do. that is the main purpose of yoga to make a person one, not being different from inside and outside.
